We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager, MEA, to join a world leading luxury retail brand with strong connections to the HNW market place across the globe. Your overall role will be to meeting new and existing contacts and to develop and grow business from the HNW market from the Middle East and India to the UK market place.


Location of the job

Field Based/ MEA travel + office based - when not travelling, office based in Oxfordshire is essential.


Language requirements for the job
Fluency in English is essential. Fluency also in Arabic is an advantage but not essential

Job responsibilities of the Senior Business Development Manager, MEA 
As Senior Business Development Manager, MEA, you will focus on business development of new and existing relationships of the HNW markets from the Middle East and Indian market.

You role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the Middle East and India business development strategy 
  • Manage relationships with local agents, DMCs, concierge, chauffeur companies and Embassies
  • Identify and target companies who have both “HNW” and “Quality” client/employee databases 
  • Work collaboratively alongside Private Client Service Director and Partnership Director to acquire and manage HNW guests
  • Create and implement Events
  • Share best practice with other European teams to leverage new and existing relationships
  • Lead and support Middle East phone calls and meetings as the specialist and ensure all actions are clearly cascaded to relevant parties

 

The successful candidate background


  • Fluency in English is essential. Fluency also in Arabic is a preference but not essential
  • Have a strong background in the Middle East and Indian HNW community with excellent HNW contacts and a good understanding of luxury retail/leisure brands
  • A proven track record in selling a luxury destination would be highly desirable
  • Experience in a BD role in the hotel/ luxury travel, leisure sector is preferable
  • Degree level or alternative vocational qualification
  • Logical thinker, detail oriented, precise and efficient
  • Flexible work style; adapts approach and communication style
  • Results driven
  • Positive and solution oriented
  • Track record of managing high volumes of work
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • UK resident or valid Visa to work in the UK - UK Driver Licence and valid Passport

 

Salary, benefits and working hours
Up to £86,700 + car allowance £8,900 and benefits
