We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a German speaking Senior Account Manager to join a leading industrial manufacturing and engineering equipment organisation. Working with clients many business sectors, such as oil & gas, pharmaceutical and agriculture, you will develop their business opportunities and client relationships across the German speaking countries of Europe.

Stafford (near to Birmingham), UK (100% Office-based role)

Job responsibilities of the German speaking Account Manager 

To join the international sales department, they wish to recruit a German speaking Senior Account Manager. Your role as German speaking Senior Account Manager will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Engage actively with customers, maximizing sales opportunities and ensuring the company remains their preferred supplier
• Manage and negotiate significant accounts, ensuring that the company consistently wins more business
• Develop, manage, and nurture a pipeline of opportunities
• Negotiate profitable deals while keeping the client's needs at the forefront
• Collaborate with other departments on issues such as pricing, product specifications, warranties, and product adaptations to deliver the right business and technical solutions to customer needs
• Use sales experience to develop strategies and actions 

The successful candidate background

• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Sales experience with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• Strong organizational skills and an analytical mindset
• Proficiency in handling objections and steering profitable negotiations
• An ability for developing long-term, profitable relationships
• Determination, resilience, and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment

A competitive salary of up to £50k + an OTE of £100k for high-performance achievers
