Remote/Work from home for now - office based in central London



Fluent English is essential. Fluency in ANY 2nd language is an advantage

Our client is a world leading, multiple award winning advertising and media production (digital and non-digital) agency, working with many of the world’s most recognised brands and companies.



To initially join them on a 12 month fixed term contract, they wish to recruit a Transcreation Account Director. Sitting in their group of transcreation and translation group of companies, the role will focus on mostly their  Marcoms accounts and will own both project delivery ( managing the transcreation, translation, localization and production of marketing campaigns) as well as the client relationship.  Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Owning overall responsibility for clients and full project lifecycle including: quoting, project execution, planning, account development, and continuous improvement
  • Close collaboration with other team members in different time zones, making resource decisions based on client needs and budget
  • Identify client needs/opportunities that might not be apparent from an individual project scope or workstream
  • Manage and help the team’s business plan and P&L
  • Meet/exceed revenue and margin targets on the above
  • Meet and exceed targets and client expectations for quality and service as applicable and defined, or reasonably inferred resources, traffic efficiently, manage review, feedback, delivery, and follow‐up
  • Respond to client feedback efficiently and professionally
  • Coordinate team to set client expectations, plan projects, contract appropriate
  • Cultivate existing client relationships, turning account from “satisfied” to “highly satisfied”
  • Act on potential leads for growth within an existing client relationship
  • Manage revenue forecasts and determine resource needs at the team level
  • Contribute to creating a corporate culture that is healthy, productive, and distinctive



  • Fluent English is essential. Fluency in ANY 2nd language is an advantage but not essential
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field
  • Project / account management experience at a transcreation agency/ad agency
  • Extensive experience working in the translation industry is required
  • Client-facing experience while handling complex projects 
  • Experience of transcreation, copywriting, digital/web localization, technical translation, DTP and artwork localization projects, multi-phased and high volume asset variety projects, multilingual projects of 20+ languages at a time
  • Proven experience handling print and digital projects
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Budget management against a defined scope of work
