Our client is a well-established international trading company, supplying specialist equipment to leading businesses across a wide range of industry sectors, such as energy, mining, and oil & gas across the globe.


The Role
To join their international sales team, they are currently wish to recruit either an Italian, German, Korean or Japanese speaking Sales Engineer . In this role, you will manage sales relationships with global clients, particularly in the energy, mining, and oil & gas sectors. You will act as a dedicated partner, managing the complete requisition-to-payment cycle for international operations. 

Your typical job responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing sales and client project specifications to identify the most suitable product offerings for clients
  • Collaborating with engineers and global suppliers to procure high-spec mechanical equipment and specialized components
  • Managing the sales process, including preparing detailed proposals and ensuring they meet both client specs and budgetary constraints.
  • Client Relationship Management: Acting as a single point of contact for engineers 



Candidate Profile, Skills and Background


  • Fluent in either Italian, German, Korean or Japanese
  • Previous sales / account management experience
  • Ideally educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field but all backgrounds considered
  • Strong sales negotiation skills and the ability to persuade clients that a proposed technical solution offers the best value in terms of price and quality
  • Experience with tools like SolidWorks or CAD for reverse engineering applications is desirable but not essential 
  • You must be tenacious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
  • Must have full right to live and work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available.


Salary, Benefits and Working Hours

c£40,000 base
