Private Client Tax Senior Manager

£82,000 – £95,000 per annum + benefits
Hybrid | 3 days Central London office / 2 days home


About the Role

A well-established and growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join its specialist Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trustees, executors and family offices, delivering both advisory and compliance services at a senior level.

You'll take ownership of a substantial client portfolio, provide high-level tax advisory support, and play an active role in the development of junior team members — all within a firm that genuinely invests in its people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of private client, trust and family office clients
  • Deliver tax advisory services to trustees, executors and high-net-worth individuals
  • Oversee portfolio management, including billing, delegation and WIP monitoring
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to business development
  • Review the work of junior team members and support their ongoing development
  • Ensure consistently high-quality service across both advisory and compliance work

About You

  • ACA and/or CTA qualified
  • Strong private client tax experience gained in professional practice
  • Proven advisory experience is essential
  • Excellent client relationship and portfolio management skills
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
  • Estate administration experience is advantageous but not essential
