Job Description

Based in the vibrant, international city of Liverpool, we have a wonderful opportunity for an Italian speaker to join a global sports entertainment, betting and leisure company as a Sales Ledger Executive, managing their accounts, ledgers and financial records for their Italian speaking business markets. 


Fluency in Italian and English is essential

Our client is a successful, international sports entertainment, betting & leisure company, operating many successful gaming and leisure brands and products across the world. 


In order to manage their accounts, ledgers and financial records for accounts receivable operations in all of their many business units, they wish to recruit an Italian speaking Sales Ledger Executive. The role will mostly cover the processing and delivery of agent statements on a weekly basis in accordance with established deadlines and to process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Typically the job will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send agent statements on a weekly basis in accordance with strict deadlines
  • Maintain precise records of all incoming payments and reconcile any irregularities in receipts
  • Identify agents with credit balances and arrange payment
  • Produce and distribute cash collection reports, identifying poor-performing customers/agents
  • Prepare and monitor debit plans as instructed by Country Managers, including reporting thereon
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer/agent files and records
  • Monitor central mailbox and resolve queries as they are received
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvement
  • Assist the finance team with ad-hoc projects and other stakeholder requests



  • Fluency in Italian and English is essential
  • Previous accounts receivable experience desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Self-motivated and well organised
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to deal with a high volume workload and demonstrate a proactive approach to target delivery
  • Professional telephone manner when liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Accounting qualification preferable
  • Industry experience in a similar role preferable but not essential
  • Experience of Infor SunSystems (“SUN”) advantage but not essential
  • Interest in sports and betting is useful


£24,000. Monday - Friday, standard office hours
