Job Description

We have a superb new opportunity for a driven and ambitious Head of International Sales to join a multi-award winning company with an impressive success story of export sales to some of the world's major sales markets. 


LOCATION

Harlow, Essex + international travel. Some remote working available but the role will be predominantly office based (at least 2-4 days per week) in Harlow when not travelling. Fully remote working not an option 


SALARY 
£65,000 - £75,000 + 20% target driven bonus and benefits

 

LANGUAGES
Fluent in business English is essential. Fluency in a 2nd European language, German is strongly preferred, is an advantage but not essential

THE JOB
In order to further grown their global sales arm to the business, they wish to hire a Head of International Sales. You will have an overall responsibility to spearhead revenue and profitability through proactive leadership of the sales function. The role will require management of sales team members (Country Managers and Agents overseas) and use your skills in strategic forecasting and implementation of a sales plan. Typical job responsibilities of the role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Motivate and mentor a sales team to help them achieve sales targets
  • Develop a culture of data led decision making to enable long term profitable revenue
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve strategic objectives
  • Create clear reports that allow easy interpretation by the wider business
  • Work proactively and harmoniously with all functions of the business

 

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

  • Fluent in business English is essential. Fluency in a 2nd European language, German is strongly preferred, is an advantage but not essential
  • Proven experience with hiring, leading, and developing successful sales teams
  • Proven, demonstrable ability to build revenue and strategic positions
  • Highly experienced at Forecasting.
  • Developing Sales Pricing Strategies
  • Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions
  • Highly professional persona and polished demeanour, strong verbal and written communication skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations.
  • Highly numerate and analytical with a high degree of competency in MS Excel
  • Intermediate/advanced skills and experience using MS word and CRM software.
  • Educated to Bachelors degree; MBA a plus.
