Job Description

German speaking Senior IT Hardware Engineer / Techniker. Excellent opportunity to join a world leading technology company for the financial services sector and retail banking, developing a range of equipment (ATM, Cash systems and payment solutions terminals). Their business continues to grow successfully across the world and keep the business established as a leader in business financial services.

Hamburg, Germany + travel in Germany (30% of the job)

Our client is a world leading hardware development company in the ATM & Payment solutions sector. They have a powerful position in global banking technology and continues to offer leading solutions of technology and hardware for the financial services and banking sector. 

In order to support ATM users (banks) with operations and maintenance services in Germany and the DACH countries, they wish to recruit a German speaking  Senior Hardware Engineer / Techniker. The exciting job will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing of service tickets of the customers and partners which the company cooperates with
  • Independent testing and delivery of GRG installation packages in the company sold and unsold self-service devices;
  • Interface and support for new product/function test and certification like firmware, operating system;
  • Technical instruction around hardware updates, hardware retrofitting, maintenance support for service partners and customers;
  • Close cooperation and coordination with the support between the departments of the company including HQ and the other subsidiaries;
  • Analyze technical issues and request, gather local industry information and provide advice to the HQ of the company;
  • local inventory management, including spare parts and machines
  • local equipment operation & maintenance management and ASP (Authorized Servicer Partner) management.
  • Project handling based on relevant norms and standards


  • Excellent communication skills both in German and English language
  • Major in automation, machinery, computing is preferred.
  • Good practical ability on hardware troubleshooting, retrofitting
  • Good PC knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of test for company solutions, mainly about hardware test, sometimes may include test of installation package
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, commitment and a high willingness to learn
  • Willingness to travel (30 %)

Negotiable - €5,000 - €6,000 per month + excellent package benefits and annual bonus targets
