German Speaking Recruitment Consultant - Technology & Life Sciences

  • Location: Central London (City) - 4 days in-office, 1 remote day (Wednesday)
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Germany and Switzerland
  • Languages Required: Fluent German and English

Our client is a leading international recruitment consultancy specialising in high-growth sectors such as Financial Services, Technology and Energy. They have established long-term relationships with major global companies, particularly in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

 

The Opportunity:
Due to ongoing expansion, they ar hiring for a German Speaking Recruitment Consultant to join their team. You’ll work on recruitment assignments across Europe, primarily in Germany and Switzerland, focusing on the Technology and Life Sciences sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full 360° recruitment cycle
  • Source and select candidates via LinkedIn, social media, CRM, and job boards
  • Build and maintain client relationships in the DACH region
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs
  • Screen and qualify candidates via phone interviews
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews
  • Post job ads and manage your professional presence on LinkedIn
  • Travel to Europe (mainly DACH) for client meetings and networking

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ideally educated to University degree (any discipline) level
  • Previous recruitment experience - any sector
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ambitious, competitive, and driven by success
  • Strong knowledge or interest in European/DACH business culture
  • Willing to travel to Germany or Switzerland every few weeks

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £27,000 - £45,000 (negotiable)
  • Uncapped commission - OTE £50,000 - £100,000
