Fantastic opportunity for a German speaking Customer Service Specialist to join a world class, international and highly successful export company and support their German speaking business clients with export customer support. 

 

LANGUAGES

Our client is a leading and well established international export company with an excellent range of brands and products

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
To join their international export team, they wish to recruit a German speaking Export Customer Service Coordinator. Your role will be to interact with business customers responding to inquiries and requests to provide the highest level of customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and transferring telephone calls in the relevant language, ensuring all calls are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner
  • Processing orders received via telephone, fax and email
  • Responding to and solving customer problems / queries / complaints
  • Supporting and liaising with the Sales Representatives with regards to queries relating to customer details
  • Liaising with warehouse / carriers with reference to distribution
  • Liaising with the Freight Controller and freight forwarders to obtain transport quotes and book freight
  • Translating and checking translations for various departments such as marketing, goods-in and purchasing.

 

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Fluent in German is essential
  • Possess excellent communication skills with a confident, pleasant telephone manner
  • Have a knowledge/understanding of export documentation (desirable).
  • Have proven customer service / sales order processing experience.
  • Have the ability to work to set standards and procedures.
  • Be educated to a good standard - A’ levels or equivalent. Basic mathematical ability essential.
