Job Description

Customer Service Team Leader. Fantastic opportunity to join a leading eCommerce company and mange their international customer support team, supporting clients across the EMEA countries.



Central London. Option to work 2 days in the head office (central London) and 3 days at home per week

Our client is a highly successful eCommerce company selling many consumer brands on various website and shopping platforms. 

To manage and work along side their customer support team, they wish to recruit a Customer Service Team Leader . Your role will be 50/50 split between team leading and also working with the team on day to day customer support issues. The job will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assisting with call centre contact volumes (via phone, email and live chat
  • Advising customers on products and providing insightful information helping them
  • Demonstrating  a high quality of service in all interactions with customers
  • Setting a personal example in professional ethos and attitude towards work
  • Being the point of contact for escalating complaint and resolving them successfully
  • Conducting employee relations investigations
  • Overseeing and ensuring daily tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Being the first point of contact for the Customer Care Advisors
  • Coaching and developing the team through 121s, QAs and daily mentoring activities
  • Assisting the Customer Care Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, as well as with recruitment activities



  • Fluent English is essential. Fluency in any 2nd language is an advantage but not essential
