Germany - 100% remote (ideally you will live close to Frankfurt where the company office is based )

The Job of the Project Engineer - German Speaking 

 
You role as the Project Engineer will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Deliver multiple tasks such as Business analysis, data architecture and Workshops
  • Work with the project manager or with the customer services manager
  • Make proposals and identify technical risks, which you communicate to the project manager
  • Ensure that your work is properly and promptly documented
  • Deliver the project tasks assigned to you according to the project plan and budget to the satisfaction of customers
  • Take full responsibility for all functional and/or technical aspects of the tasks assigned to you
  • Keep the project manager constantly informed (directly in context) about the status of the tasks assigned to you
  • Demonstrate flexibility and undertake business trips to clients to support them on-site with project implementation
  • Organisation and implementation of handovers (internal and external) in the context of project implementation
  • Carrying out update and upgrade projects Supporting the support department as needed, coordinating with the Customer Services Manager

 

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in German is essential. Fluent in another language (English, French or Dutch) is an advantage
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
  • Alternatively IT Technical training and experience in medical laboratory processes
  • Experience in the implementation of laboratory information systems
  • Experience with laboratory processes and organisation
  • Knowledge of common IT applications Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Healthcare communication standards such as HL7, ASTM, IHE, etc.
  • Operating systems, networking, virtualization
  • Strong motivational skills – can deliver the tasks in difficult circumstances
  • High level of commitment and ability to take action when necessary
  • Inventive and solution oriented, hands on and can do attitude
  • Punctual and quality minded
