Our client is an international organiser of events and exhibitions in all industry sectors.

In order to develop sales of exhibition space for its portfolio of trade shows and events in Italy, they wish to recruit an Italian speaking Sales Executive.

Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Making cold calling telesales calls to business in Italy
• Producing a sales plan with the local Sales Manager in Italy
• Manage a record of your sales activities with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales tool (full training provided)
• Identifying potential new exhibitors
• Researching the needs of target show visitors
• Developing strong relationships with key clients
• Supporting the marketing and R&D teams

In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and background:

• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
• Previous sales experience in highly desirable - all sectors considered, especially media or event sales BUT this is not essential as a winning personality and the desire to be part of an exciting project are even more important so full sales training can be given
• Have a strong desire to develop new business
• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the business culture in Italy
• Have a good level of technical competence
• Excellent communications skills and relationship development abilities are essential
• Some knowledge of the trade shows business would be an advantage but is not essential

On offer is a basic salary of £18,000 - £22,000 + excellent commission (OTE £30-£35,000)
