Our client, based in the City of London, is a world leading information provider and organiser of Event & Conferences for leading IT business professionals.

To manage and coordinate all of their EMEA events & conference operations, they wish to hire an Event & Conference Sales Manager.

Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee the EMEA event sales teams and ensure that event programmes are delivered on time, to budget and complete
  • Work on select event sales, sponsorship sales and speaker selection and confirmation
  • Manage event programme content, marketing campaign, sponsorship sales and logistics delivery
  • Tracking progress against expectations on all events
  • Work with both the senior management teams and to ensure they are kept updated on progress

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and background:

  • Fluency in English and preferably at least one other language, ideally French, Spanish or German but all languages considered
  • Experienced within every aspect of sales in the conference & events industry  (operations, sales, marketing, delegate acquisition)
  • Have a B2B media and events sales background at a Senior Level
  • Have a knowledge and experience of event organising throughout EMEA
  • Experience in the ICT sector preferably
  • Educated to degree and ideally MA level-  ideally in Business or a business related field (MBA)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset- with a willingness to get on board and grow the business
  • Strong people management skills capable of working and communicating with people at all levels and within different cultures
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of an eneregetic sales office and be responsible for the running of all sales aspects of the EMEA region
