Our client, based in the City of London, is a world leading information provider and organiser of events & conferences for leading IT business professionals.

To join them to work on their flagship IT event in London, they now urgently wish to recruit a Delegate Sales Executive. Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Making cold and warm sales calls to IT business professionals from major blue chip companies in order to confirm their attendance at the conference
  • Negotiating on sales price where relevant
  • Managing the sales process and negotiating with the client in order to close the sale

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and background:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential
  • Have a proven B2B sales background ideally from the events, conferences, media or IT sector but all sectors are welcome
  • Have experience of cold calling with a high level of determination, tenacity and the motivation to achieve targets
  • Have strong inter-personal skills, strong organisational skills and a forward thinking approach

This role will ideally lead to a management position for the right person! On offer is a competitive, negotiable basic salary of anything from £18,000 - £20,000 (reviewed after 3 months) + commission (OTE of £25,000 - £30,000 year 1).
