Based in west London, our client is an international, specialist financial services company.

To join their international sales department, they wish to recruit a Sales Executive. Your role will be to set qualified meetings with senior executives against an agreed target listing specified by the Account Manager and Sales Director. You will also Support the Account Manager with the sales administrative tasks in relation with the client meetings. Your sales will focus mainly on the UK & some European business markets (especially Germany, France, The Benelux, Spain and Poland). The role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Establish effective rapport and relationship by phone with personal/executive assistants of major company CEOs/C-level decision makers to secure meetings for Account Manager
  • Update and manage the Account Manager agenda to minimise travel costs and ensure coverage of all scheduled meetings
  • Conduct basic research into named industry segments so as to be able to make an informed call.  Identify and remain up to date on industry trends and potential business opportunities
  • Research specific companies to provide a comprehensive study for the Account Manager to use in preparing for a first meeting
  • Prepare summary status report of calls made and specific points of interest identified by potential client executives
  • Identify and conduct company research into potential blue chip clients mainly in the UK
  • Qualify all sales leads presented to you
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records in prospect management system

To be considered for these excellent sales opportunities, you must have the following skills and background:

  • Fluency in business level English is essential. Fluency in a 2nd European language, especially German, French, Spanish or Polish, is an advantage but not essential 
  • Ideally hold a Business Degree
  • Have a background in sales or telesales or sales appointment making and a successful track record of cold calling into senior levels of blue chip companies and getting quality meetings for Senior Sales Staff
  • Have a proven ability to meet targets and organise meetings
  • Good influencing skills are essential
  • Be very sales and target motivated, self driven and goals oriented

On offer is a basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 basic + commission (approx. an extra £5,000 - £10,000. It is uncapped and paid on all sales appointment confirmed). Career opportunities to develop into Senior Key Account Manager within 12-24 months are available to the right candidates, where OTE is c£50,000+.
