Our client, based in Buckinghamshire, 20 minutes north-west of London by train, is a world leading Translation Company.

To join their translation department, they wish to recruit an German speaking Translation Project Manager.

Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating and overseeing all stages of project which includes receipt of request from clients, price and delivery schedule quotation, translator liaison, document correction, despatch of translation to client, invoicing instructions to Invoicing Department
  • Day-to-day communication with clients
  • Communicating and interacting with other members of the division (translators, project managers, editors, word processing team)
  • Ensuring that the quality of projects is met (content and delivery schedules)  

You should have the following background for the role:

  • Fluent in German, as well as English
  • Be educated to university level in a languages discipline
  • Ideally have previous customer services or office administration or project management experience
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good IT skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Previous client contact experience beneficial
  • Previous project management experience beneficial
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
