Our client, based in Buckinghamshire, is a world leading company.

To join their translation department, they wish to recruit, for a 6 month contract, a French speaking Translation Project Manager.

Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaison with English and Freneh speaking clients regarding translation requirements and deadlines
  • Preparation of internal paperwork interpreting client's instructions into a format understandable by all staff
  • Liaison between in-house translator and client to resolve any queries that may arise during translation
  • Coordination of selected staff translators working from home or in other office (sending and receiving of work, queries etc.)
  • Invoicing instructions to Invoicing Department
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required, or in accordance with business needs

To be considered, you should have the following skills and background:

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Be educated to university level in a language discipline
  • Have previous customer services or customer administration experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • An ability to deal courteously and efficiently with a wide range of people
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to high standards

This job will start as a 6 month maternity cover contract. A possibility of a permanent job is an option, but not confirmed.
