Job Description

Our client is a global translation company, covering most industry sectors and working with many of the world’s leading companies.

To manage and coordinate their client translation requirements, they wish to hire a Project Manager. You will be the primary point of contact for your customers and you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely management of a project’s full life cycle. Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating and overseeing all stages of a project from initial receipt of request through to delivery of the project to the client
  • Confirm to clients price and delivery schedule quotation, entering and processing orders through the workflow management system, translator and production team liaison and document review before delivery to the client
  • Working with the vendor management team to recruit local resources
  • Communicating and interacting with other members of the division and company (project managers, divisional management, desktop publishing & engineering team, production team)
  • Ensuring projects are signed off on a timely basis and passed to the invoicing department
  • Following and complying with all company policies and procedures
  • Assisting other divisional staff with additional duties and responsibilities as and when required.


  • Fluency in English
  • College degree (BA, BS) and ideally degree in translation and/or interpretation
  • Previous client contact experience essential
  • Previous translation project management advantageous
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to create glossaries, assess quality and completeness of translations
  • Advanced translation memory experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good IT skills
  • Previous client contact experience essential

$50,000 - $55,000 + benefits (20 days’ holiday, private health insurance/dental/vision and a 401K pension plan Private Healthcare Pension and life assurance scheme)
